Considerably sharper, perhaps high VF from a technical standpoint, but the surfaces are rough, especially on the obverse where there are some nearly vertical planchet voids on the portrait. Medium chocolate brown and olive with a hint of reddish chocolate overtone. The highpoints are slightly glossy. Appears to have been recolored long ago. No verdigris or notable contact marks. Struck with the reverse misaligned to the bottom leaving nearly all of the date off the planchet (as usual for this variety). Comes with a nice provenance. Weight 131.3 grains.
