Mostly glossy medium olive brown and light chocolate with an arc of darker chocolate brown on the right side of the reverse. Looks perfectly smooth to the unaided eye but a glass reveals extremely fine roughness covering all but the highpoints. The highpoints on the obverse are covered with extremely faint hairlines suggesting an attempt to minimize the roughness. Nicely centered and most of the date is easily readable (the date is missing on the Taylor, Perkins, and Ford examples). The legends are complete and strong. Weight 149.3 grains.
