Considerably sharper, perhaps EF40, but there are numerous shallow planchet striations on both sides, the notable ones off the forehead and above the second 7 in the date. No corrosion or verdigris, and the only notable contact mark is a tiny rim bruise under the 1 in the date. Mostly glossy medium brown with olive brown toning in protected areas. Struck slightly off center to the top leaving the bottom edge of the date off the planchet. Otherwise the date and legends are strong. LDS with a strong die cracks on both sides. Not perfect but still superior to the Perkins and Taylor examples of this rare variety. Weight 121.9 grains.
