Very attractive glossy medium brown and light chocolate. The surfaces are mostly smooth and the notable defects are three small rim nicks above the front of the head, a cut on the rim over the second N in CONNEC, and some tiny planchet flakes at the head of the seated figure. Not perfect but still superior to either of the examples in the Ford collection. The date is strong and the legends are clear. Weight 157.9 grains.
