Sharpness VF20 but lightly smoothed long ago. No verdigris. The only marks are some tiny ticks and pits from the T in CENT to IC in AMERICA. Glossy olive brown and chocolate with lighter brown toning on the devices. An attractive cent in spite of the imperfect surfaces. MDS, Breen state IV, with a single die crack on the reverse. The three die cutter errors on the reverse (missing stem, error fraction 1/000, U over inverted U) are obvious. A decent example of this very popular “Redbook” variety.
