Technically sharper but lightly smoothed to minimize extremely faint porosity. Glossy olive brown and steel with lighter steel brown toning on the devices. No verdigris or contact marks, and the eye appeal of this piece is excellent. Softly struck at CONNE and the opposing area at IB thanks to a thin area in the planchet; well struck elsewhere. Late die state with a meandering die crack that bisects the reverse roughly NNE to SSW with additional cracks elsewhere on that side. Weight 136.1 grains.
