Medium gray and steel with some darker steel toning on the highpoints. Evenly struck with full legends around both sides and a clear date. There are a few specks of greenish verdigris visible under magnification and a small area of minor roughness at the top of the reverse. May have been double struck since there are additional letters near the rim at K-2 on the obverse. Assayer PM. A neat early piece that could have been used in colonial America. Weight 139.5 grains.
