Technical sharpness of VF25 with details superior to the Perkins and Ford examples, but the planchet is covered with fine to moderate roughness on all but the highpoints. No verdigris and the only marks are a few light scratches in the hair at the back of the head and a small rim nick over the B in LIB. Slightly glossy chocolate brown with lighter brown toning on the devices. Actually has decent eye appeal in spite of the roughness. Later die state; the die crack from the bust to the A is strong. Struck slightly off center to K-7 but the date and legends are complete and bold. Weight 132.4 grains.
