Glossy light olive blending to medium olive brown in protected areas. The surfaces are smooth and the eye appeal is excellent. The notable defects are a minor planchet lamination in the field below AUC, a thin nick just right of the I in AUCTORI, and some fine hairline scratches hidden in the toning on both sides. Later die state with strong swelling from the extended arm to the E in INDE and a die crack that connects the two ends of the hair ribbon. The date and legends are complete and strong. Weight 140.4 grains.
