Glossy light to medium brown. The surfaces are mostly smooth but there are tiny planchet chips in the centers (as usual) plus a few more in the field behind the head and a barely visible lamination on the rim at K-11 on the reverse. None of these defects is significant and this piece has excellent eye appeal. Struck slightly off center to K-11 (but not as far off as the Ford coin). The date is tight to the edge but complete. Certainly comparable to the Ford coin that was graded “Extremely Fine.” Weight 143.9 grains.
