Choice glossy medium brown and light chocolate. Satiny mint frost shows in the protected areas and this piece has outstanding eye appeal. A bit soft in the centers, as usual, and there is a minor lamination at the O in AUCTORI. Otherwise the defects are trivial. Struck slightly off center to K-7 but the date and legends are not affected. A premium piece, superior to the Taylor, Perkins, and Ford examples. Weight 154.3 grains.
