Sharpness VF20 or a bit better but there are small areas of shallow corrosion and verdigris on the obverse and microscopic roughness covering the remainder of the planchet. Rather glossy dark chocolate brown with slightly lighter brown toning on the highpoints. Looks better than it might sound, and the reverse is quite nice. The 17 in the date is weak but the 47 is clear and the legends are strong. A curved planchet clip (as struck) affects the dentils under the date and just touches the tip of the bust on the obverse. Weight 110.1 grains.
