Breen’s “Sea Beasts Below King, Stars in Legends” type with a colon before REX. Glossy light to medium brown blending to olive brown in protected areas. Smooth and void of defects, just worn. The brass splasher on the crown is small and dull but visible. Late die state with an internal cud break that obliterates the L in PLEBS. Comparable to the Griffee example that he called finest known (1995 C-4 Sale, lot 197); this one is worn a bit more but has nicer surfaces.
