Mostly glossy light to medium brown with darker steel brown toning on the highpoints. Smooth except for a significant planchet fissure at K-3 on the obverse through to K-9 on the reverse. The obverse is misaligned to K-2 leaving most of CONNEC off the planchet. The bottom of the date is slightly off the planchet but the rest is strong. Late die state with swelling at the shoulder and a very strong die crack from the knee to the L in LIB. Struck in medal alignment, head-to-head. Weight 111.1 grains.
