Glossy light chocolate brown with lighter brown toning on the lower half of the reverse. Mostly smooth with just a few minor flaws including a planchet flake at the junction of the neck and bust and another at the bottom of the shield. A rather large curved planchet clip at K-4 to K-5 affects the dentils but does not reach the legends. Late die state with bold die clashmarks on the obverse and obvious swelling around the T in ET. The diagonal die crack on the reverse is strong. AUCTORI is tight to the edge and half of INDE ET is off the planchet. Weight 134.7 grains.
