Technically VF20 or a bit better but the obverse is scratched, there are three digs at the U to the chin, another small dig in the center of the reverse, and a deep planchet fissure at the feet of the seated figure that nearly extends through the planchet. The toning is an attractive glossy light olive blending to light reddish chocolate in protected areas. No corrosion or verdigris. The obverse is slightly off center to K-4; the reverse is centered on the planchet. The date is strong except for some weakness on the 1 caused by the planchet fissure, and the legends are easily readable although the tops of some letters are off the planchet. Weight 148.5 grains.
