Choice frosty medium brown blending to light chocolate in protected areas. A superior example in every respect. The centers show the usual planchet chipping, especially on the reverse, but the fields are perfectly smooth. Nicely centered and essentially flawless with a bold date and legends. Far superior to the Taylor, Perkins, and Ford examples. The rim cud at the fifth cinquefoil is strong. Certainly among the finest in the condition census for this very rare variety. Weight 132.0 grains.
